Self taught designer Kevin Muscat has been called ‘a visionary in bridal fashion’. He moved from his native Malta to London more than twenty years ago to pursue a career in dancing that took him to the Royal Opera House, Glyndebourne and international tours including Matthew Bourne’s world famous all-male Swan Lake.

Upon hanging up his ballet shoes, Kevin moved into fashion, developing his extensive self-thought skills while working for four years under Stevie Stewert, co-founder of internationally acclaimed 80s brand BodyMap, creating costumes for pop icons such as Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears and Cheryl Cole.

After occasionally lecturing pattern-cutting at London College of Fashion and also engaging in his own further study in couture tailoring at Central St Martins, Kevin set up his own label, Atelier Muscat. His background as a ballet dancer continues to inspire movement in his collections.
